The Bobadilla Node (Antequera), Phase II, has a length of 6.15 km and runs through the municipal territory of Antequera, in the province of Malaga. This is the section where the branch points/junctions that make the high-speed connection between Malaga and Granada possible are located.
The new layout has been designed for high-speed double track with international gauge and for passenger transport only. As unique elements, there stand out the pergola over the Cordoba-Malaga high-speed railway line and the Viaduct over the Arroyo de Las Lomas.
The project contains the necessary actions for the execution of the infrastructure works, such as: earthworks, drainage works, structures, restoration of affected services, and the construction of cross connections that ensure the permeability of the railroad.
