Detailed engineering design, procurement, and construction of a switching yard connected to the main railroad line for the ammonia and urea plant
This project began with the detailed engineering design of the switching yard and access road that would connect the ammonia and urea plant to the main railroad line.
The construction of the infrastructure involved clearing the site, removing overburden, cutting the terrain, bringing in foundation soil, forming the embankment, and building hydraulic structures for water control. This included all transportation, supply, and procurement of the necessary materials. The project also included the construction of a loading area, control facilities, and miscellaneous structures.
The construction of the superstructure for the switching yard and access road encompassed the following activities: placement and grading of ballast, laying and fastening of rails, distribution and installation of ties, leveling and alignment, installation of switches and fittings, welding, automation controls, and all other work pertaining to the switching yard’s superstructure.
