IMATHIA CONSTRUCCIÓN is carrying out the WORKS UNDER THE PROJECTS FOR THE REPLACEMENT AND INSTALLATION OF FENCING WITHIN THE SOUTH CONVENTIONAL NETWORK OPERATIONS SUBDIRECTORATE, SOUTH INFRASTRUCTURE AREA MANAGEMENT, MÉRIDA MAINTENANCE AREA. LINE 500 (KP 211/000 TO 297/300 AND 308/635 TO 309/850), LINE 502 (KP 334/380 TO 335/770) AND LINE 514 (KP 0/200 TO 1/550 AND 21/000 TO 22/100).
The works are being carried out on various sections of Lines 500, 502 and 514 in the provinces of Cáceres (municipalities of Casatejada, Mirabel, Garrovillas de Alconétar and Cáceres) and Badajoz (municipalities of Burguillos del Cerro, Zafra and Puebla de Sancho Pérez), in both urban and rural environments. The main activities comprise:
- Replacement of deteriorated fencing using two types according to land classification: Type M urban fencing for established urban sections or areas with specific protection and aesthetic requirements, and chain-link fencing for interurban sections and non-developable land.
- Installation of new fencing where none currently exists.
- Adaptation to planning, environmental and railway requirements.
- Integration with existing structures (overbridges, retaining walls and drainage
structures).
This new contract strengthens IMATHIA’s collaboration with ADIF and expands our portfolio of works on the Spanish railway network, where the company has extensive experience in infrastructure construction, renewal and maintenance.
